We loved it so much here we wanted to share the area with as many people as possible, so when the Trullo next door to Casa della Scrittrice came up for sale we thought it would make the perfect self catering holiday home.

 

Trullo della Scrittrice is nestled amongst mature olive and fruit trees and surrounded by a secluded garden. It also has its own private salt water pool, beautiful areas to relax in the shade with a  book or a glass of wine and a choice of al fresco dining areas. It really is the perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday. Sleeping four people, it's ideal for a family holiday or perfect for a friends' break in the sun.

 

If you do want a change of scenery there are blue flag beaches a mere twenty minutes drive away and it's also perfectly located for you to explore the local towns and villages of Puglia. Ostuni, Ceglie Messapica and Cisternino are all just a short drive away, while a little further afield are Lecce, Otranto and Gallipoli. We are also on the doorstep of Basilicatta, where you will find the ancient Sassi town of Matera which will be European City of Culture in 2019 and shouldn't be missed.
